Cabin crew medical

As part of your cabin crew attestation, a medical examination is required. We can provide this and produce a certificate for you if you meet the required standard. Certificates are typically valid for 5 years.

Note that we provide CAA certificates, valid for UK operators with UK registered aircraft. Please check with your employer to see if this is the correct medical for your airline.

Each cabin crew medical involves the following:

  • Check of photo ID (passport or UK driving licence)
  • A check of the medical history and of any medication that you are on
  • Physical examination including height and weight, blood pressure, pulse, heart and chest, nerves in the face and limbs, movement of the arms, legs and spine
  • A vision check including colour blindness check
  • A hearing check
  • A urine test - checking for blood, sugar and protein
