When you have your first class 1 or 3 medical this is termed an initial medical. This is a more in depth medical than a renewal and will usually involve spending about half a day at an Aeromedical Centre (AeMC).

Only AeMCs are authorised by the CAA to complete initial medicals, therefore we are not able to provide this service.
