Essex Aeromedical Clinic
Magenta Medical offers high-quality aeromedical assessment. We currently offer UK Class 1 and 2 pilot medicals as well as class 3 medical for air traffic controllers. We can also carry out Cabin Crew, FISO and skydiving medicals. We aim to deliver a flexible and responsive service to suit your needs.
Magenta Medical is hosted at two sites:
Stock Surgery is located between Billericay and Chelmsford and is not far from the A12 - we have plenty of on-site parking.
We also hold clinics at North Weald Flight Training at North Weald Airfield (EGSX), near Harlow. This is located near the Hangar 2 apron on the airfield site and is easily accessible from the M11.
What services do we offer?
As a professional pilot regular medical certification is an important part of your licencing. We offer efficient medical consults and can perform the necessary additional testing such as ECGs, audiograms and blood tests.
If you're starting your journey to obtaining your private pilot's licence then you'll need a valid class 2 medical before going solo. Our guide will let you know what needs to be done to get you on your way
As an established licence holder, we can provide a CAA approved medical to keep you flying. For instrument rating holders we can also provide the required audiogram.
If your GP is not able to complete your LAPL medical then we can complete this for you and get you underway!
As either a new cabin crew applicant or an existing attestation holder, we can offer initial or renewal medicals to ensure you keep up with the regulatory requirements.
For existing ATCOs we can provide a revalidation medical accordingly. Additionally we also offer FISO medicals if required.
Additional services
As well as the above, we can also offer skydiving medicals, airside driver's medicals, FISO medicals and passenger fitness to fly assessments. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
